In recent years, domestic gas explosions in multi-apartment buildings have become more frequent. In most cases, the occurrence of explosive situations in residential buildings is the «human factor». In order to detect and prevent the leakage of household gas, NTC IGD Ltd developed a gas protection system for the use of intra-gas gas equipment in residential buildings. The system consists of an autonomous gas detector and a gas valve with data transmission over the radio channel.

The autonomous wireless methane leak detector is a device capable of detecting pre-explosive concentrations of methane. If leakage is detected, the device notifies residents of the need to eliminate the leakage with sound and light signals, and also sends a signal to the wireless gas valve installed in the gas supply line to stop the gas supply to the emergency section.

You will find out more about the household an autonomous gas detector, you can in our catalog in the devices section.

Platinum microwire

A unique high-tech product, providing a glass-isolated extra thin (8-12 micrometer) wire of platinum. Used in beads of cathalityc and thermoconductometric sensors for shaping a heating coil as well as in resistance temperature detectors etc.
Product benefits:

  • Thermal stability of wire within wide range of operational temperature
  • Dielectric resistance of glass insulation
  • Chemical inertness within aggressive gas environment

Replaceable protective filter to prevent poisoning of sensors with H2S vapors

A sorbent replaceable filter for sensor H2S poisoning prevention. Manufatured from a special cellulose membrane impregnated with cathalyst and modifying additives.
A necessary size is cut out for a particular sensor.
Diameter – 130 mm

TPE

Primary pellistor type thermal converter for DTK series of combustible gas sensors. Manufactured in two options: as detector and compensator elements. Operationally, the converter can be used dually – either in pair with a compensating converter or alone. It can be used for replacement of a defective sensor element or installed into customer’s sensor body.
The converter is manufactured as a discrete component without housing

DTK 4

This sensor employs thermocathalytic principle of operation. The sensor consists of a matched pair of working and referencial elements of pellistor type (usually referred to as detector and compensator). Working and referencial elements are isolated and housed each within a separate reaction camera. Sensor features 3 connecting oins and can be plugged into connecting socket.
